Rebranded to Nahvalur, this pen was originally introduced at the Philadelphia Pen Show in 2020 as a Limited Edition of 2,000 pieces. The Narwhal Schuylkill Fountain Pen in Porpita Navy, features a pearlescent acrylic body with an internal piston-filling mechanism and stainless steel fine writing nib. The Narwhal Schulkill (pronounced Skool-kill) is named after the river in Pennsylvania. Swirling shades of blue, turquoise and yellow acrylic are matched with gold appointments, and clip. Since the Schulkill pen material is opaque, it has a clear ink window toward the front end of the pen to show the amount of ink in the pen, even when the pen is closed.

The Narwhal Schuylkill Fountain Pen in Porpita Navy is a perfect study of art imitating nature. The “blue button jellyfish” or porpita porpita isn’t actually a jellyfish at all but a hydroid. They have two main body structures—first part is a round disc like shape and golden-brown color, typically 1.5 inches wide or less. The second part is the jellyfish like tentacles that are bright blue, turquoise or yellow. So Narwhal nailed the colorway with this pen.
