Description:
This is the same model as the #3776 Century but with rhodium trim instead of gold. It's a classic cigar shaped pen in slightly translucent black resin with a rhodium-plated 14K gold Ultra Extra Fine (UEF) nib. It writes well with a very fine line - if you use a dry ink it may be scratchy but I haven't had this problem.
According to Platinum, this nib and feed is the same as that used in the Nakaya Urushi pens and it has the inner 'Slip and Seal' cap to prevent it drying out in your drawer or pen case. I also found that this grip section is interchangeable with the Platinum Procyon model that I also own.
It's a cartridge converter pen (included).
The #3776 name comes from the height in metres of Mt. Fuji, the highest and most beautiful peak in Japan.
Cap: screw fit.
This is not a big pen. Weight 20.5g, 140mm long closed, 120mm open, 155mm posted. 13 mm max. barrel diameter.
